To follow up my suggestion for utilizing Airtable, I would like to provide you an example of how I used it today! (Also check out this video: "Meet Airtable")
Contact Me Form
I am often invited to events and love the opportunity to meet and network with new people. At these events I collect lots of business cards, but afterwards I’m faced with the challenge of what to do with all these details. For some who manage a contact or address book, they may in fact hand write their notes. Others may use sophisticated CRM tools or applications that can actually scan your business card and capture the different pieces of information.
This is what I did.
Step 1: Created a new database in Airtable
Step 2: Created column fields for specific information
Step 3: Linked the events attended to the new people tab
Step 4: Created a form view and shared link
Step 5: Published this link https://airtable.com/shr4lLBbPoDD6xkvu
Conclusion: If you want a quick and easy way to capture information from people. Create a table. Create a form. And share a link. Thanks @Airtable!
